Marriott Announces Completion of $20 Million Renovation of the Tampa Marriott Westshore Hotel

Centrally Located Tampa Hotel Reintroduces Hotel Offering Premium Choices, Sophisticated Style and Well-Crafted Design

The Tampa Marriott Westshore Hotel unveils the redesigned property, which includes all of the 310 guest rooms, 18 Next Gen Meeting Spaces and its lobby, totaling a $20 million renovation overhaul. The premium Tampa hotel provides its experienced business travelers, millennial visitors and locals alike, cutting edge technology, along with well-designed environments to revolutionize guests’ stay.

“We understand that our guests lead fast-paced lives, and we redesigned our property with that in mind, providing forward thinking, aesthetically pleasing spaces that help foster their inventive nature,” said Tina Smith, General Manager, Tampa Marriott Westshore. “Through thoughtful offerings such as mobile check-in or mobile key entry on all rooms, guests have even more control over their experience, which is reliable and secure, to ensure they have more time to unlock their memorable moments.”

The Marriott Hotels brand is on a journey of transformation, as it continuously evolves its hotel experience to meet the changing needs of guests’ desires. A key part of the reinvention is the introduction of its updated public spaces that are designed to connect and inspire guests, whether they are at work or play. Marriott Hotels is expanding these features across the brand through public space renovations and in its new hotels.

Renovations of the full-service Tampa Marriott Westshore began about a year ago (on May 28, 2017) and include redesigned, technology introductions and refreshed décor that come together to provide guests a seamless experience upon first arrival to the property. Guests are first greeted with the lobby’s residential-style décor and open layout, which provides guests the latest in design and comfort, creating an inviting space to relax, collaborate with colleagues or socialize.
