“Tampa Bay home sales were up 18 percent over January, 2012, according to recent Multiple Listing information,’’ says Realtor Karen Nasello of Re/Max Metro, based in Treasure Island, downtown St. Petersburg and Tierra Verde.
“That’s great news. And it points out the importance of selling your home with a Realtor. Hiring a Realtor gives you many advantages that are crucial in today’s market,” Karen says. “With contacts, experience and exposure, a Realtor can help a homeowner get the most money for a house, help to sell it quickly and make a daunting process seem much easier.’’
Many people don’t realize the amount of work that goes into selling a house, Karen explains. “I have a four-page handout that I share with clients that outlines the approximate 200 tasks involved in a real estate transaction that a Realtor either does or oversees during one transaction.”
