Be a Part of Paint Your Heart Out Safety Harbor and Beautify Your Community

Join Paint Your Heart Out Safety Harbor on Saturday, March 16, from 7:30 a.m.-12 p.m. as volunteers help out their neighbors by painting houses and providing landscape beautification for a few pre-selected homes. Volunteers meet at First Baptist Church, located at 525 14th Ave, at 7:30 a.m. Individual volunteers and volunteer groups can sign up ahead of time by contacting Volunteer Coordinator Donna Mack or show up that morning to register. All volunteers will receive breakfast, lunch and a t-shirt.
The Daily Group, Home Depot, and Publix are a few of the businesses who will be participating in this year’s event. Individuals and volunteer groups will work alongside volunteer professional painters to make this project a success. If you wish to make an in-kind donation of supplies or contribute monetarily, please call Lynne Burghardt at 727-725-7655 for more details.
For 23 years, Safety Harbor has participated in Paint Your Heart Out, and over 100 homes have been beautified thanks to the many volunteers who have come out to help. Each year, several homes are selected for painting and landscape beautification. Your volunteer efforts will make a positive impact on the neighborhood and aid those homeowners who find it difficult to keep up in the current economic climate.
