Largo City Commission Highlights Public Safety, Community Pride

At the August 7 Largo City Commission Meeting, the Largo City Commission made several ceremonial recognitions that highlight Largo’s focus on Public Safety and Community Pride. Six new Police Officers and five new Firefighters were officially sworn in and introduced to the Largo community. In addition, Largo Fire Rescue’s Greg Cargill was recognized for his promotion to Lieutenant.

The Commission also recognized this year’s Largo Summer Camps Good Citizen Campers. Every summer, one camper is chosen from each of the City’s day camps to be recognized for their outstanding citizenship based on criteria including respectfulness and responsibility.

The City of Largo thanks these public safety professionals and campers for their hard work and dedication. More information about these recognitions can be found at Largo.com/Agendas. Photos are also available and video of the recognition can be viewed online at Largo.com/LiveTV.
