Join To Honor Barbara Cronin Harrington
Actors, screenwriters and other professionals in the film industry will join to honor Barbara Cronin Harrington at the premiere of a new documentary based on her life. The event will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Octagon Arts Center Social Hall of the Unitarian Universalist church, 2470 Nursery Road in Clearwater.
Reginald Roundtree of Channel 10 WTSP News will serve as master of ceremonies for the program, with Alicia Katz as Narrator for the film based on Harrington’s life and accomplishments. Sheree Johnson of Image Masters International, Inc., is producer/director of the documentary and co-writer with Linda Copperfield.
The event will begin with Red Carpet Networking and Photos from 4 to 5 p.m., while hors d’oeuvres will be available buffet style. The program will begin at 5:15 p.m. with welcome and introductions, followed by the premier of the “Barbara Cronin Harrington” documentary. A humorous and ribald roast of the Guest of Honor will follow the showing, with presentation of Lifetime Achievement Awards concluding the program.
Many actors, screenwriters and crew members have started and advanced their careers with the help of Barbara Cronin Harrington, who also is credited with the authorship of three books in addition to her many-faceted involvement in the television and movie industries.

Also involved in supporting the event are the Tampa Bay Film Society, the Tampa Bay Motion Picture Industry Professionals, Sunscreen Film Society, Women in Film and Television and the St. Petersburg, Tampa Bay, Clearwater and Sarasota Film and Television group. ASCAP (Actors, Screenwriters and Crew Production) also will be involved in promoting the event.
