Symposium and Gala
Bay-2-Bay Wearable Art Symposium and Gala features DFAC President George Ann Bissett who will be the keynote speaker at a Symposium and Fashion Gala from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, to conclude the Tampa Bay Wearable Art Fashion Week.

Bay-2-Bay Wearable Art is a major retrospective of 100 custom creations-designs, has been on display this week at the Creative Pinellas Gallery, 12211 Walsingham Rd. in Largo, as part of a project involving 14 members of the Garden Fairy Artist Collective, along with international wearable art winners, Julian Hartzog, Dacota Maphis and Lina Teixeria.
Saturday’s Symposium and Gala is open to the public at no charge. It will also feature an opportunity to meet with the guest designers. The Bay 2 Bay Wearable Art project was made possible by a grant from Creative Pinellas. Sponsors of the exhibit and the Symposium/Gala are Creative Pinellas, Dunedin Fine Arts Center, Safety Harbor Art & Music Center (SHAM-c), Casa Tina Restaurant, Production Source and filmmaker Seth Walker.
