Dog Lovers Attend Bark at the Ball Park
As Clearwater Threshers Play Florida Fire
Enjoy America’s favorite pastime with man’s best friend! Bring your pet to this year’s ‘Bark at the Ball Park’ and strut your stuff around Spectrum Field in Clearwater, home of the Clearwater Threshers and the Spring Training facility for the Philadelphia Phillies. Mingle with other animal lovers, indulge in tasty concessions and learn about local vendors. Proceeds benefit The Humane Society of Pinellas! Dog admission tickets are sold separately from spectator tickets. Fans will have a chance to see the Threshers play the Florida Fire Frogs in a 7 p.m. game. The Fire Frogs are a High A farm team of the Atlanta Braves organization, now playing at home in Kissimmee.
As an ongoing supporter of the Humane Society, the Clearwater Threshers have a promotion called “Dog Days of Summer.” They sell dog tickets for every Monday home game except Monday, May 13, when they have a special “King of the Wing” event to determine the area’s best hot wings. All Dog Days event proceeds go to the Human Society of Pinellas. For more information, see the Threshers page at www.mlb.org.
Bring your pooch to Bark at the Ball Park! On Mondays in 2019, at Spectrum Field, a $6 dog ticket benefits the Humane Society of Pinellas. Enjoy fun, contests, and vendors on the concourse for a good cause.
Dog admission tickets are exclusively sold walk-up at the BayCare Box Office at Spectrum Field. People tickets are available in advance at ThreshersBaseball.com or call 727-467-4457.
Gates open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. Clearwater Threshers game vs the Florida Fire Frogs. Dogs are permitted on the concourse and berm, but not in the seating bowl area of sections 114, 115, and 116.
The Threshers will welcome dogs into the ballpark on Monday nights during the 2019 season. The $6 dog tickets on the Dog Days of Summer Mondays will benefit a different local pet charity each week.
