Renowned Glass Artist, Borowski to visit Destination Tampa Bay at Syd Entel Galleries – Susan Benjamin Glass Etc. Presents The Glass Works of International Artists, The Borowski Family Meet Wiktor Borowski from Poland on Saturday December 14, 2019 – January 18, 2020

From a bag of sand pulled from the earth to a finished piece of handcrafted art, glassmaking runs deep in the Borowski family. Going back decades and across multiple generations, each member of the Borowski family dedicates themselves to honing their craft and perfecting the art of glassmaking with every piece they create.
The Borowski Family name has been significant in the European studio-glass movement of the late 1970s and has achieved a previously unseen quality with their engraved and sculptural works. Their work is presented in numerous exhibitions; they have reached a wide audience in Europe, Asia, and the USA.
Glass Studio Borowski was founded in the Boleslawiec area of Poland. Stanislaw Borowski, the patriarch of the Borowski Family has been exhibiting internationally for over 25 years in major glass museums.
In 1993 Stanislaw’s sons, Stani Jan, Wiktor and Pawel Borowski, took the helm of the glass studio. In addition to Stanislaw’s own one-of-a-kind objects, they now design a collection of studio glass that is contemporary, young and thrilling!

It has become popular with art and glass collectors worldwide. The Borowski’s collection of work is known for its unusual shapes and bright colors. Their works are bold, fresh, creative and avant-garde. Their Collections include the “Artist Editions” which are a small series of exceptional “Art Objects” skillfully crafted and unique. The “Studio Line” features imaginative, amusing objects: plump, friendly birds or fantasy creatures that happen to be candle-holders, fruit bowls, vases and paperweights.
The “Outdoor Objects” Collection includes friendly figures and whimsical creatures taken from another world. Imagine a 4ft tall chameleon made of glass and steel that can be placed on your balcony or in your garden. These outdoor objects can stand outside all year long and delight any visitor. All glass items are hand made using complex hot and cold techniques.
