Camp Lo is an American hip hop duo, formed in 1995, which hails from The Bronx, New York. The duo consists of rappers Sonny Cheeba and Geechi Suede. The duo is perhaps best known for their 1997 hit “Luchini AKA This Is It”.

Legendary Bronx-bred hip-hop duo Camp Lo burst onto the scene in 1997, when their classic debut album Uptown Saturday Night (and it’s anthemic single “Luchini”) introduced fans to the Lo’s intricate flows and cutting-edge slang editorials. Nearly two decades later, Camp Lo emcees Geechi Suede and Sonny Cheeba are back with Ragtime Hightimes, a brand new album produced by longtime collaborator Ski Beatz.
Although he’s worked with the likes of Jay-Z, Mos Def, Curren$y, Mac Miller, Freddie Gibbs, and many more, Ski has always shared a special creative connection with Camp Lo. “Ski is the third member of the Lo,” explains Suede. “Ain’t no end to it..only new beginnings.” Ragtime Hightimes finds Camp Lo and Ski Beatz pushing past boundaries while staying true to their creative vision. “This piece is different ‘cause we were in a different space,” says Suede. “It’s always gonna be us, just different versions of ourselves.
We’re exploring different dimensions in visual sound texture.” While much of their classic material was sample-based, the group is now experimenting with live instrumentation more than ever before. “The originality remains,” adds Cheeba. “There are differences in sound, mostly due to the live instruments.” Overall, the result is a singular piece of “time traveling art” that is sure to resonate for years to come. “This album just feels good,” explains Suede. “It’s our favorite way to feel.” Videos for ‘Bright Lights”, “Life I Love”, X-Seminar” and “You” are on rotation now from the new album Ragtime Hightimes, which is available now at most physical and digital outlets. The Black Connection EP featuring the Black Connection trilogy and two new songs “Make Me Dance” and TNT aka Dynamite Love is also available at all digital outlets and streaming service providers.
About Coppertail Brewing Co.

The Coppertail Brewing Co is an independently owned production brewery and tasting room in the historic Ybor neighborhood of Tampa, FL. It was founded on the desire to bring more quality, Florida-brewed beer to the thirsty masses. Florida Inspired. Tampa Brewed.

Why Coppertail? Coppertail is a sea monster that lives in Tampa Bay. We know this because our owner and founder’s 5-year old daughter (at the time) told us about it. Somehow, though, it seems like the perfect name for this brewery. Coppertail is the strange and fantastic that lurks beneath Tampa Bay. Coppertail is dreaming of the impossible. Kind of like the craft brewing industry going up against the giant mega-brewers. Or like a home-brewer putting everything on the line to start a brewery
