Visit the Clearwater Beach Chalk Art Festival for some of the most talented chalk art in Tampa Bay! Here you will see the work of over 40 talented local, regional and student chalk artists as they transform the Beach Walk on South Clearwater Beach into a beautiful canvas. Visitors get to vote for their favorite work of chalk art as part of the “People’s Choice Award.” Weekend also features craft vendors, kids’ art activities, live music and more.
Now in its 8th year, the Clearwater Beach Chalk Art Festival’s following continues to grow by offering top artist groups to capture your attention by creating sidewalk art using chalk that you will talk about for months to come!
To make this event possible, the Beach Chamber has teamed up with several local businesses as event sponsors, including the City of Clearwater, who promote, celebrate, and engage the community in this artful event! Event Sponsors also make it possible to house non-local artists and to raise the prize money for the winner of each years “People’s Choice Award.” This family friendly festival also includes a kid’s zone, arts and crafts vendors, live music, and a one-of-a-kind open air gallery on one of America’s Best Beaches–Clearwater Beach!
