Next weekend will be a busy and exciting weekend in Clearwater showcasing performing art from nationally recognized top musicians, the top chalk artist and one of our favorite foods-Stone Crab. All of this is taking place in Clearwater and Clearwater Beach. So make you plans now to enjoy it all! The Clearwater Jazz Holiday is your pick for music, The Stone Crab Festival is available at Frenchy’s and other bay area restaurants and Clearwater Beach Chamber is hosting the Clearwater Beach Chalk Art Festival so we can get some amazing art in! This could be one of the most power packed weekends we have had in sometime in Destination Tampa Bay.
The 7TH Annual Clearwater Beach Chalk Art Festival is presented this year by the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa to be held on October 19-21, 2018. This family-friendly community event will take place on Beach Walk, Clearwater Beach on Friday, October 19 and Saturday, October 20 from 9:00am until 6:00pm and Sunday, October 21 from 9:00am until 3:00pm.
For three days at he Clearwater Beach Chalk Festival, over 35 incredible local and regional artists, students and artistic groups will transform the beach’s sidewalks into spectacular bigger-than-life-canvases, allowing the public to get a rare glimpse into the way art is produced in all stages of progress. The public will get to vote for their favorite artist and the “People’s Choice Award” will be announced at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 21.
