Clearwater Community Gardens announces that more than 10 gardening plots are available for the upcoming gardening year beginning May 1, 2017. There are currently 36 – 4 by 8 foot plots in the very successful community garden located in the Downtown Gateway neighborhood at the corner of N. Betty Lane and Grove Street.
Gardeners a
re able to grow whatever they want in their plots and additionally partake in the many group activities held during the year. There has been trips to other garden related facilities, Potluck dinners and group beautification days of the common property. The garden has a part time manager and is open every day from dawn to dusk. If you have never grown vegetables before there are several members willing to help you get going.
