Kids ages 9 to 12 are invited to the Morean Center for Clay to learn about creativity in a fun, week-long writing camp with Keep St. Pete Lit teachers. The camp is free for low-income students. All students will explore storytelling through play, art, writing and zine-making in a welcoming environment. Students will also be invited to participate in a final camp reading.
There will be two camp sessions: July 16-20 and July 23-27, both from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. To apply for either week, please fill out the form on their website at keepstpetelit.org/free-creative-writing-summer-camp. Those who do not qualify for tuition-free camp will be asked to remit a tuition payment of $150/per week before start of classes. Space is limited! If you have questions, please contact Maureen McDole at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 727-798-4530.
