It’s time again to enjoy the Dunedin Art & Craft Festival. Stroll along Main Street in downtown Dunedin from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 15 and 16, to see the original work of 150 of the nation’s most talented artists. You will see a variety of media represented including life-size sculptures, spectacular paintings, one-of-a-kind jewelry, photography, ceramics and an expansive Green Market. The event is free to attend.
Located alongside the Intracoastal alongside St. Joseph Sound, Dunedin has a small town image but packs the punch of a bustling city with its 37,000 residents. One of the oldest towns on the West Coast of Florida, it has a wooded and subtropical setting with almost four miles of picturesque waterfront, a relaxed lifestyle, and activities for all likes and ages. Its Main Street invites a walking tour, and the Downtown Dunedin Craft Festival is the perfect opportunity for just that. (LEFT -Casa Tina’s)
A short drive over the bridge will take you to Caladesi Island, acclaimed as one of America’s Best Beaches and to Honeymoon Island State Park. And Downtown Dunedin offers a wide selection of some of the area’s best independent restaurants as well as some intriguing shops that you will not find anyplace else.
