Dunedin Holiday Boat Parade and Tree Lighting
Dunedin Marina & Holiday Boat Parade and Tree Lighting will be held this Saturday, December 7. The Dunedin community continues a longtime tradition with its Annual Dunedin Holiday Boat Parade & Tree Lighting festivities to take place at Dunedin Marina and Edgewater Park from 6-9 p.m. Admission is free to attend. Bring the whole family to watch festively decorated boats travel south along the intracoastal, then head to Edgewater Park for holiday music, s’mores and Santa’s arrival by boat just prior to the official lighting of the City’s Christmas tree. More on the Dunedin Marina
The Dunedin Marina is located on the intracoastal waterway between the Dunedin and Clearwater Causeways and is entirely funded and maintained by those who employ the marina’s ramps and slip rentals. Located at 51 Main Street and across from Edgewater Park, the city-owned Marina serves as home to the Dunedin Boat Club, Dunedin Windlasses and Dunedin Youth Sailing Association, and has become a fixture of some of Dunedin’s unique community events. But to residents in the Dunedin community, it is the site of some of the most amazing sunsets and peaceful waterfront views in all of Tampa Bay.
