Taste of Pinellas Is Back!
Taste of Pinellas, a food and music festival benefitting All Children’s Hospital, returns from a one-year hiatus in a new venue with a three-part blast. Enjoy “signature tastes” from the area’s best restaurants, a line-up of celebrity award-winning artists to please all musical tastes, and a full schedule of fun family activities.
Rock, groove and boogie to this year’s headliners at beautiful Albert Whitted Park in downtown St. Petersburg. On Friday, May 9, “Heart Breaker” rockers Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo and three-time Grammy® winner Bruce Hornsby and The Noisemakers are joined by “Arena Rock” icons Loverboy. On Saturday, May 10, don’t miss the original, the one and only Blues Brothers with Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi and the amazing party band KC & the Sunshine Band.
Culinary delights will be provided by your favorite restaurants serving up their most sought-after dishes and signature creations. Family activities will center around a free “Family Fun Zone” at The Mahaffey Theater Plaza and on the park grounds. Night time will bring on spectacular fireworks.
General admission tickets are $22.50 per person in advance or $25 at the gate. Children under the age of 12 are free when accompanied by paying adult. A limited number of $75 VIP tickets are available (advance only) and include premier seating in the VIP area, complimentary beverages, snacks and food samplings in the VIP Hospitality area and access to VIP restrooms. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday.
