Get ready for Art Showcase at the Library with Jaimee Ponce. Tampa Bay based artist and photographer, Jaimee Ponce, has been passionate about photography since 1996. Starting out locally in the darkroom at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center and learning all of the technical and manual aspects of the camera, Jaimee now blends that training with her passion for finding beauty in all things and her gift of having a keen eye. Even though her work as an artist, a wedding photojournalist and a photography enthusiast has led her to many international destinations like Paris, Venice, Rome, and Florence to name a few, here in Florida, Jaimee has photographed many beautiful events in places such as the Safety Harbor Spa, The Don Cesar, The Vinoy, Renaissance International Plaza and St. Petersburg Yacht Club, and many more. Jaimee has also been recognized in Grace Ormonde Wedding Magazine, Marry Me Tampa Bay and The Knot Magazine and has been accepted as a photographer in The Gold Hope Program which connects children with cancer with photographers.
