Art Showcase @ the Library! Halldor Sigurdsson: Join us this month as local, award-winning photographer and high-end digital imaging artist Halldor Sigurdsson shares his photographic talents with us in the Art Showcase @ the Library. Although he may humbly call it just an interest or a hobby, Hal’s experiences, both professionally and personally, are reflected in his ability to capture the essence of his subject. Having worked on thousands of images for major publications such as Travel & Leisure, Food & Wine, and Brides magazines throughout his career, Hal has also had opportunities to photograph Marlo Thomas, Dr. Salk, Geraldo Rivera, and other celebrities as well as his journeys travelling around Thailand, Iceland and throughout the US, including right here in Tampa Bay! This show will run from April 3rd through May 5th during regular library hours.
