Bags on the Beach Charity Cornhole Tournament, benefiting HEP

Here it is! The 8th Annual “BAGS ON THE BEACH” Cornhole Tournament to benefit HEP (Homeless Empowerment Program). This event is for all levels of players (men and women) to participate in our two division tournament. The Open Division (good to great players) and The Fun Division (recreational players). Bring your own partner or we can find one for you on the day of the event. Check-in is at 10am and we’ll start playing at noon. Bring your tents, beach chairs, sun block and friends, and set up right behind the Palm Pavilion on Clearwater Beach. The entry fee/donation to play is $20 per person.

Event proceeds will benefit homeless individuals, families and Veterans living at the Homeless Empowerment Program (HEP) in Clearwater. HEP is an award-winning social services agency in Clearwater, recently named the Clearwater Regional Chamber’s 2017 Large Not-for-Profit Business of the Year. In addition to providing basic needs like food, shelter, and clothing, HEP also provides wrap-around support services including: transportation, one-on-one case management, medical and dental care, mental health care counseling, financial and legal services, job training, free childcare, and much more. Last year, HEP assisted 1,262 individuals, including 566 Veterans and 70 families.
