Clearwater Community Gardens Summer Plant Sale is Saturday and Sunday, August 25th and 26th, from 8am to 8pm at 1277 Grove Street in Clearwater. Proceeds from the event support Clearwater Community Gardens and their activities to improve the Downtown Gateway neighborhood just east of downtown Clearwater.
Plenty of plants many of which were grown from seed at the gardens will be for sale at very reasonable prices. The event will run from 8am to 8pm, with plenty of free on street parking in the area. Water and coolers will be available for purchase. These plants will go quickly so Saturday morning is the best time to assure that you can get one.
Gardening enthusiasts will find a large selection of plants, annuals, vegetables, and herbs. All plants are reasonably priced and come from our own seeds or local gardeners, and are more likely to do well than plants bought elsewhere. Knowledgeable folks will be on hand to answer questions and give advice. This event is a great way for local gardeners to spruce up flower and vegetable gardens this year with a large variety of new and familiar offerings.
The sale is located on the property of Clearwater Community Gardens at 1277 Grove Street at the corner of N. Betty Lane. It is just north of the large vacant property across from Nature’s Food Patch, one of the sponsors of the Gardens. Everyone is welcome FREE of charge and there is plenty of FREE parking. Proceeds go directly to support Clearwater Community Gardens.
