The Sponge Docks serve as home to the Annual Sponge Docks Seafood Festival Friday, November 12 through Sunday, November 14, 2021 in Tarpon Springs. This free, scrumptious event returns for its 33rd year and offers visitors a chance to experience a plethora of delicious seafood while enjoying live music and browsing festival vendors and stores lined up along Dodecanese Boulevard. The event runs from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday; 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
The Annual Sponge Docks Seafood Festival, which draws on average around 35,000 guests over the weekend, features an eclectic music lineup across genres from rockers The Southern Road Dogs and modern pop band Code Red to local crowd jammers like Razin’ Jane and I <3 Cats Band plus much more. In addition to tasty seafood and infectious music, guests can check out artwork across various mediums competing in an arts and crafts show held over the weekend. Visitors can get an early start on their holiday shopping list and take home a unique artsy souvenir or two.
