Author Sterling Watson, is a screenwriter and the author of eight novels. His book “Weep No More My Brother” was nominated for the Rosenthal Award given annually by the National Academy Institute for Arts and Letters. He is Emeritus Professor of Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Florida, co-director of Writers in Paradise and former director of the Writing Workshop at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg. His latest book, “The Committee“, will be discussed this evening and was named one of the Best Historical Novels of 2020 by the Tampa Bay Times.
