Everything You Wanted to Know About Honeybees (But Were Afraid to Ask!) Did you know that Florida is the third largest producer of honey in the US? If you have ever had an interest in knowing more about honeybees or beekeeping, this is the perfect opportunity! Former math teacher Angela Gates turned local beekeeper and member of the Pinellas Beekeepers Association will be here to cover such topics as why pollinators are important, honeybees vs. native bees and will give a quick intro to backyard beekeeping. Angela will be bringing some of her beloved live bees (always the stars of the show!) as well as having a honey tasting and products for sale.
