This area is a bit quieter than the Sponge Docks but also well worth a visit. Tarpon Avenue is the Downtown’s Main Street and features many shops and restaurants, including a large variety of antique shops, many of which specialize in certain kinds of antiques. Between these two districts, the shops and restaurants and the unique feel of the area, Tarpon Springs is well worth the visit.
