It’s time to get your Gecko on! Saturday, Sept. 1, will mark the 2018 GeckoFest Gulfport Art Walk on Beach Boulevard in Gulfport. In addition to artisans and craftsmen and live music on two stages, there will be street performers and a fun costume contest. Audience participation will include a walking parade and food vendors.
Costumes are expected to depict superheroes, villains, cult characters, legendary locations and other pop culture genres including books, movies, TV shows. The event is set to take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free. For more information, visit www. Gulfportgeckofest.com.
