International artist Kaffe Fassett is coming to Tampa!
Kaffe has been involved in the art of craft for 50 years! Starting with Needlework, knitting, and now patchwork, his color studies are seen as expert level among the craft. He is world renowned pattern designer, fabric designer, and color master.
We are the final stop in his US Fall Tour, here with Happy Apple Quilts.
Join us on the evening of October 26th at 7pm, for his Inspiration and Color lecture. His lecture is designed to inspire and motivate.
The presentation highlights works from his latest projects, including his patchwork quilts, fabric, needlepoint, mosaics, painting and knitting designs.
A tremendous amount of Kaffe’s inspiration comes from his continual travels and his lecture is designed not so much to instruct but to empower and inspire the audience to create and develop their “mind’s eye”.
Audiences leave invigorated – entranced by Kaffe’s sense and use of colour; you will be ready to try it yourself and are encouraged to do so. Following the lecture, Kaffe Fassett will be doing a book signing.
