Events Scheduled

Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 21, at the Annual MLK National Parade and Family Fun Day in St. Pete! This is the nation’s longest-running parade honoring Martin Luther King. The parade is set to start at 11 a.m. Following the parade, enjoy a Family Fun Day at Tropicana Field featuring a kids zone, entertainment, an education drive, day of service programs and more from 2:30 to 8 p.m.

The festivities for the Martin Luther King Day Parade event will start on Saturday, Jan. 19, with a “Bring Da Heat” dance competition at Gibbs High School, 850 34th St. S. in St. Pete. That event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Then, on Sunday Jan. 21, will be the Battle of the Bands from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Al Lang Stadium, 1st St. South.
