The public is invited to attend a Shine Medicare 101 presentation on Saturday, October 21, 2:00-4:00 pm at Safety Harbor Public Library. SHINE volunteers will present detailed information on the basics of the Medicare program, including Medicare supplement insurance, Medicare Advantage plans, and financial assistance programs. SHINE representatives will also be available to answer questions and provide enrollment or benefit application assistance.
The Florida Department of Elder Affairs’ SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) Program is available to provide free, unbiased information and assistance to Florida Medicare beneficiaries as they carefully evaluate their health care options.
