Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections, Julie Marcus, has dedicated her career to ensuring equal access to voter registration and ballots and transparency of the electoral process. Starting way back in 1999 as a Political Science major at the University of South Florida, to where she is now, join us as we hear how she climbed the ladder of success and became who she is today. What are the challenges that she faces with all the voting turmoil going on now? Over her career with the Supervisor of Elections, Marcus has administered more than 320 municipal elections, 25 countywide elections, 12 manual recounts, 37 post-election manual audits and implemented two new voting systems.
