Saturday, March 25, 12:30-3:00 PM
As March is Women’s History Month, please join us as Wedding Historian Leigh Anne Brown leads guests through a show-and-tell of her museum-quality collection of historic wedding dresses. From the Civil War to the flappers to the present day, you will see more than a century of exquisite wedding gowns from her vast collection. Leigh Anne will discuss how we have all been affected by the social, economic, educational and political events in history that have shaped the American woman in the last 150 years. Learn how much we as modern women have in common with our great, great grandmothers! Registration is required for this event and begins on February 15th. FEE: $15 per person. Call the library at 727-773-2665 to register. Limited attendance.
