The Practical Cyclist: Bicycling for Real People

Safety Harbor Public Library will host bicycle enthusiast Chip “the neighborhood bike guy” Haynes on Thursday, July 19 at 6:30 pm. Haynes will discuss how cycling is for everyone, provide practical tips on selecting a bike and accessories, basic bike mechanics and more. He encourages a practical approach to cycling for pleasure or health and as an affordable, local transportation option. You are encouraged you to ride your bike to the program.

Haynes has been involved with cycling for decades. He rode across the United States and is a daily bike commuter.
