Practicing Kindness and Thanking First Responders…Good Reads, Good Deeds Family Book Club. Join other families at East Lake Community Library as we read a story together a book club to discuss the message and then participate in community service. This month features the theme of showing kindness and giving help where one can. We will prepare special treats at home and then bring them to this program to hold a “sweets swap” after the story to create gift platters to take to local first responders as a way to show our thanks and appreciation.
