Read the Book, Watch the Movie is a monthly program offered by East Lake Community Library. Each month will be dedicated to a well-known book and the film version. Read the book and then join us for viewing the movie version at the end of the month as an after school special event. Snacks will be provided. This is intended for elementary aged children who will sit and watch the movie and perhaps take part in a brief discussion or activity. It is not a program meant for very young children. All titles have been screened for appropriateness for school aged children, but many are family friendly. Please use discretion. There is no prerequisite to read the book, but it is highly encouraged to fully enjoy the experience! No registration. For another book club at East Lake Community Library look here.
