Quilting Under the Palms,Admission to the show is $8 for one day and $10 for both days. There is ample free parking and buses are welcome.  Programs will be handed out and a chance to win an exciting door prize can be found inside each program.  The show features over 200 beautiful quilts created by its ninety, very talented guild members. Some of our members are beginners and others are seasoned and willingly share their more sophisticated techniques with beginners and all.  The quilts are a wide variety of size, design, color, technique and style.  Also, attendees will be able to vote for their favorite quilt.  At the show all guild members will be wearing vests which they uniquely designed specifically for the show.

Several vendors will be present, giving demonstrations and promoting many interesting items for sale. There is a boutique, handcrafted items made by members, and Couture, Décor, and More with high end items for sale/ display.   Additionally, there will be 27 baskets raffled off to the lucky winners.  There is a featherweight sewing machine in one basket and an Accuquilt Go in another.  New this year to the show is “block party.”  Block party is a sale/ auction of quilt blocks made by guild members.  There is a minimum of nine blocks per set, and the purchaser will be able to assemble the blocks however they wish.   Raffle tickets are available for the beautiful sea glass group quilt.  Also, there will be tickets sold for the stunning paper-pieced opportunity quilt.  One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Opportunity Quilt ticket sales will be given to the Florida’s Youth Ranch in Safety Harbor.  The Florida’s Youth Ranch is a non-profit residential child and family services organization.

Quilter’s Crossing, a not-for-profit organization, engages in several other philanthropic activities throughout the year. They support F.E.A.S.T., Clothes to Kids, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Victims Advocacy Program, and Quilts of Valor. The quilt guild was founded in 1985.  Members meet every Wednesday at the Harbor Hall in Palm Harbor, Fl.
