Musical jazz duo Sonny Daye and Perley Rousseau will perform on Thursday, March 15 at 6:30 pm at the Safety Harbor Public Library. Their mixed concert will introduce listeners to popular American selections from the 1920s through the 1980s, international cabaret selections, as well as musical bossa nova pieces from Brazil and France.
Sonny and Perley, a talented husband and wife team, spent the last several years developing and perfecting their unique blend of jazz, bossa nova, American songbook standards, and international cabaret. The duo interpret and perform the material in their own inimitable artistic style that incorporates elements of education, history, art, culture, audience engagement, and artistic creativity.
