St. Pete Power Boat and Sailboat Show
Get ready for the St. Pete Power Boat and Sailboat Show…the largest power and sailboat show on the Gulf Coast is sailing into St. Pete! Head to Albert Whitted Park to view an extraordinary selection of power boats and sailboats in water and on land. The Boat Show opened on Thursday, Nov. 29, and will continue through Sunday, Dec. 2. A 40,000 square-foot tent has all types of marine gear and fun for the whole family. Show-goers will be able to find hundreds of power boats and sailboats including family cruisers, runabouts, fishing boats, magnificent sailing yachts, personal watercraft and so much more!
In addition to the large selection of exhibits at the show, there will be special events and the Kids Fishing Clinics presented by the non-profit Hook The Future. Also for fun, check out some of the special events at the St Pete Power and Sailboat Show like VooDoo chef. The VooDoo Chef has more than 30 years experience in the Food Service Industry and has been a lauded culinary educator for the past two decades. He was the driving force behind the nationally recognized, award-winning Culinary Operations Academy at Chamberlain High School in Tampa. Under his direction, the academy became the only Model High School Culinary Academy in the nation. The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation awarded him with the prestigious James T. Maynard Excellence in Education Award, which is presented to the top culinary educators in the nation. In addition, he operates a consulting business, advising restaurants on recipe creation and standar-dization, staff training and development, and menu development. As a National Food Safety Mana-gement (ServSafe) instructor and proctor, he also works with companies to train and certify staff and develop Food Safety plans and systems.
