Rising 3rd through 5th-grade students are invited to join some feathery friends as they visit ELCL to help spread awareness about Florida birds. An educator from Moccasin Lake Raptor Sanctuary and local bird rescue group, Birds in Helping Hands, will be here to introduce the birds, share ways to help protect them and teach how communities can help create bird-friendly coastal environments. This is a limited seating and ticketed event. Due to the nature of the program and the wildlife present, age restrictions are a requirement for the presenter. Caregivers may attend with their children, but younger siblings cannot be permitted. Please make arrangements for younger children in your care. Tickets are available at the children’s reference desk beginning June 16th while tickets last. http://eastlakelibrary.evanced.info/signup/calendar
