Dillman’s Creative Arts Foundation Retreat Center of Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin is partnering with the Dunedin Fine Art Center to bring free demonstrations with two nationally known artists to DFAC. The event is set for Friday, Feb. 1 and is complimentary; however, advance registration is required. Wisconsin artist Carol Schlintz will demonstrate techniques in a “Pine Needle Baskets Workshop” at 2 p.m., and David R. Becker will present “The Most Important Fluid and Heavy Bodied Acrylic Workshop” at 3 p.m. Each of the workshops will last about 45 minutes. There will be door prizes, silent auctions and refreshments. David Becker is also scheduled to be featured at a Paint Party that evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are required for this event. Dunedin Fine Arts Center is located at 1143 Michigan Blvd. in Dunedin.
