Flamingo Festival at Sunken Gardens

 

Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg wants to show off its young flock of Flamingos in their first-ever Flamingo Festival. Enjoy $1 off admission on Sunday, March 3, from noon to 4 p.m. You’ll also enjoy kids’ activities, face painting, and live music – all free with garden admission! Beer and wine will be available for purchase. The Flamingos Forever Committee was so successful in raising funds for the purchase of flamingos for Sunken Gardens that a non-profit organization, Sunken Gardens Forever Foundation, has been formed to support special projects at the Gardens.

Sunken Gardens is a botanical paradise in the midst of a bustling city and is located at 1825 4th St. N in St. Petersburg. As St. Petersburg’s oldest living museum, this 100-year-old garden is home to some of the oldest tropical plants in the region.
