Hosted By Clearwater’s Long Center
The 2019 Florida International Championship will be held at Clearwater’s Long Center from Thursday, Aug. 1 through Sunday, Aug. 4. This big swimming event is hosted by Clearwater Aquatic Team (CAT). Long Center is located at 1501 Belcher in Clearwater. Swimmers must have pre-registered and have met qualifying time standards.
The Long Center in Clearwater boasts an indoor Olympic-size pool and a heated training pool, as well as a gym and fitness center with treadmills, elliptical machines, bikes and a stair stepper. There are also outdoors recreational facilities: football and soccer fields, hiking paths and a playground. In addition to the Florida International Championship, other major swim events such as the U.S. Water Polo Open Championships, Speedo Champions Swimming Series, AAU Swimming and Diving National Championships, Clearwater Aquatics Team Junior Olympics, and Canadian College Volleyball Winter Training.
