Free Clinic Changes Lives

St. Petersburg Free Clinic changes lives by providing food, shelter and health care to neighbors in need. St. Petersburg Free Clinic serves over 2,000 families a month through the We Help Services Food Pantry. It offers health education, help for women in need and other valuable services in addition to its two major services, the Free Clinic We Help Services and the Free Clinic Health Services.

Free Clinic We Help Services provides emergency food and financial assistance, personal hygiene items, assistance with obtaining proper identification, bus passes, a bike assistance program and referral information. The Free Clinic Health Center provides primary health care services for adults aged 18-64 without private insurance, Medicare or Medicaid and who do not qualify for county-subsidized health care. Free Clinic Health Center offers basic health and wellness services by volunteer physicians and nurses along with a staff including a full-time nurse practitioner, a full-time diabetic health educator and full-time nurse coordinator. The Health Center helps patients get the medications they need through the Prescription Drug Assistance program. It is located at 5501 4th St. N. Phone number is 727-327-0333.
