Friends of Joshua House Foundation

Back-To-School Supply Drive

Since 1992, Joshua House has been providing a safe haven to children in need across Hillsborough County, whether they have been abused, neglected or abandoned through a therapeutic residential group care program and efforts to keep siblings together in groups.

A program of the Children’s Home Society of Florida, Gulf Coast Division, Joshua House tries to provide nurturing and protective surroundings across its five homes that extend across 11 acres in Hillsborough County.

Its fundraising arm, Friends of Joshua House Foundation, dedicates itself to developing and gathering the resources necessary to provide such an environment for the children.

Currently, a variety of locations in the Bay area are collecting school supplies for the children who directly benefit from Joshua House’s programs, including Shops of Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel running its own Back-to-School Supply Drive to benefit Friends of Joshua House Foundation through August 23.

Supplies and gift card donations can be dropped off at Guest Services located at the outdoor shopping mall’s Center Court. Others interested in donating can go online to check the Foundation’s wish lists for Back-To-School Supplies in need and see a list of Tampa drop-off locations posted on the website. The School Drive will be held in Tampa & Wesley Chapel. For more information, click here.
