German American Society Oktoberfest

Brings Authentic German Foods and Fun to Pinellas Park

German American Friendship Society Oktoberfest brings authentic German foods and fun to Pinellas Park. It has been voted Tampa Bay’s most authentic German Oktoberfest will take place in Pinellas Park on three weekends throughout October. Enjoy typical German food, beverages, dances and games from 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 4 and 5, Oct. 11 and 12, and Oct. 18 and 19. Music for the event will be provided by the Manni Daum Trio on October 4, 5, 12 and 18, and the Frank Svet Trio will take the music stage on October 11 and 19. The Oktoberfest will be located at 8098 66th Street N in Pinellas Park.

This traditional Oktoberfest is hosted by German American Friendship Society of Pinellas County Most of the foods, available during the three-weekend event in October, are prepared on-site from scratch. The Apfel Strudel (apple strudel) is one of the staples that is appreciated by regular and first-time visitors alike.

Don’t miss German beer, food, vendors, dancers, music, and bands, Parade of Flags, keg topping ceremony, bier stein holding contest, great raffle prizes and more! Come for the bier, stay for the Gemütlichkeit (cheer). Regular admission is $10, children under 12 are free and free parking is available.

In addition to all the traditional German foods, Oktoberfest would not be Oktoberfest without the imported Bayern (Bavarian) beers. Several imported Bayern (Bavarian) beers will be in stock during the German American Society’s 2019 Oktoberfest, including the official beer of Munich Oktoberfest, famous Oktoberfest Spaten.
