Here Come The Mummies brings its red-hot Wicked Never Rest Tour to Destination Tampa Bay at The Capitol Theatre on Friday, September 21 at 8 pm. For more information and a complete list of tour dates, please visit: HCTM.Band/Go.
2017’s Friction Tour featured sold-out shows at the Chicago House of Blues, Louisville’s Mercury Ballroom and Indianapolis’ Vogue Theatre. HCTM is the only band ever to appear on The Riverbend Festival’s massive Coke stage three years in a row, in its 30-year history.
Here Come the Mummies is an eight-piece funk-rock band of 5000 year-old Egyptian Mummies with a one-track mind. Their “Terrifying Funk from Beyond the Grave” is sure to get you into them. Since their discovery, HCTM has been “direct support” to P-Funk, Al Green, Mavis Staples, KC and the Sunshine Band, and Cheap Trick, rocked Super Bowl Village, become a regular on The Bob and Tom Show and played massive festivals like Summer Camp, Suwannee Hulaween, Common Ground, Voodoo Fest, Musikfest, Summerfest and Riverbend.
Some say they were cursed after deflowering a great Pharaoh’s daughter. Others claim they are reincarnated GRAMMY®-winning studio musicians. Regardless, HCTM’s mysterious personas, cunning song-craft and unrelenting live show will bend your brain and melt your face.
