Brings Family Fun to Florida Botanical Gardens
Holiday Lights in the Gardens brings family fun to Florida Botanical Gardens. The annual “Holiday Lights in the Gardens” is a spectacular escape into a wonderland of twinkling lights and fun entertainment by local entertainers. Over a million LED lights shine throughout the Botanical Gardens in Largo to highlight our plants and in nature-themed or holiday-themed light displays. Come out and see many of our traditional favorites, like the snowman family, as well as our new items, all while celebrating the season.
This is a family-friendly event with nightly entertainment, including visits with Santa. Refreshments are available, as well as Holiday-themed gifts at the Botanical Bounty Gift Shop. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. daily and a $5 suggested donation are encouraged for entry. Children under 12 are admitted free.
The spectacular display opens November 29 and will continue throughout the holiday season until January 4. The Florida Botanical Gardens will be open from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. for families to enjoy the display. Suggested donation is $5, but children 12 and under are free. They are looking for a few more local groups to perform during this special event. Florida Botanical Gardens is located at 12211 Walsingham Rd. in Largo.
