Jannus Live Offers Free Pink Floyd Tribute Concert

Jannus Live is offering a free Pink Floyd tribute concert as “Pig Floyd” covers Pink Floyd’s greatest hits on Friday, July 6. Pink Floyd were an English rock band formed in London in 1965. They achieved international acclaim with their progressive and psychedelic music with their best-known album, “The Dark Side of the Moon,” selling over 15 million copies.

Gates open at 8 p.m. and all ages are welcome. Jannus Live is an outdoor courtyard venue located in the St. Petersburg Historic District at 200 1st Ave. North. A second free concert is set for Saturday, July 28. It will feature 97X Shindig with the Manchester Orchestra, Morgan Saint and Two Feet. In its eclectic schedule of July concerts are Beres Hammond and Friends on July 5, Glokk None on July 7, Kim Walker-Smith on July 20, a Tribute to Mick Jagger-WMNF of July 27.
