The John’s Pass Seafood Festival will be bigger and better than ever this year, as it will grow from three days to four days to provide more time for visitors to enjoy the food and the fun. The festival will take place from Thursday, Oct. 27, until Sunday, Oct. 30, at the famous fishing John’s Pass in Village and Boardwalk in Madeira Beach.
Since its founding in 1980 to celebrate John’s Pass as “The Grouper Capital of the World,” It has become the longest-running festival of its kind in Pinellas County. Last year’s event attracted over 145,000 visitors, and organizers are expecting even more this year due to the festival’s expansion.
Exhibitor applications are now being accepted for the event to provide the various booths at the festival, which will include a large variety of seafood, art & craft vendors, a Halloween block party, seafood competitions, a fishing tournament, live music, costume contests and more. Applicants can save $50 by registering before August 26 to participate in this year’s Seafood Festival.
