The Junior College JUCO Softball Kickoff Classic and Showcase will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 31-Feb. 2, at Eddie C. Moore Park, located at 3050 Drew St. in Clearwater. This college softball recruiting tournament is now in its 11th year.
The JUCO Softball Kickoff event is hosted and managed by Fast pitch Headquarters and LDI Sports Consulting. The managing personnel of our two organizations have over three decades of experience in running reputable tournaments and recruiting events. Our goal is to make the JUCO Kickoff Classic a great start to your team’s season.
The JUCO Softball Kickoff event is expected to attract teams from across Florida and around the country. It is designed specifically for junior college teams and is customizable since the teams can select the number of games they want to play and the days on which they do play. Each team can submit information for a Player Profile Showcase book, which is provided to the attending recruiters from four-year colleges.

Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex is named after the Clearwater Bombers’ former manager and player.
All in all, the complex has 7 fields, 3 for practice and 4 for games, spreading across Drew Street and McMullen Booth Road. An addition, two more softball fields are available further down the road at Vendor Arena near Eisenhower Elementary School. The field is completely equipped with top drawer training facilities and batting tunnels. Basic facilities such as restrooms, benches and concession stands help you spend the day better.
