For St. Pete’s 7th Annual ‘All Things Local’ Festival
The 7th annual LOCALTOPIA in St. Petersburg promises to be bigger and better than ever! LOCALTOPIA is an festival that celebrates all thing local. Set for Saturday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Williams Park and the surrounding area, LOCALTOPIA will have a full extra city block of vendors, entertainment and fun. More than 250 local St. Pete businesses will present local makers and merchants, arts and crafts, live music and food and drink—all provided by local St. Pete’s favorite independent businesses and community organizations.

This “community celebration of all things local” has already been voted “Best Festival” by the Tampa Bay Times’ “Best of the Best Awards” and has been declared “The Event of the Year” and “Best Festival.” It gives a real opportunity to experience an exciting variety of what St. Petersburg has to offer. The event is organized b KSPL (Keep St. Petersburg Local), St. Pete’s independent business alliance.
New this year will be the addition of one full city block of vendors and fun on 3rd Street, including a second live entertainment stage provided by Visit St. Pete/Clearwater. In addition to having that stage on 3rd Street, LOCALTOPIA will be expanding down 3rd Street with another 60 additional vendors as well as activities and fun for the entire family, including a special area for craft activities sponsored by the James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art.

The day will begin a 10 a.m. with a brief opening ceremony led by Mayor Rick Kriseman on the Williams Park bandstand. A full schedule of live music will continue there and on the VSPC stage of 3rd Street throughout the day. MC at the Williams Park Bandstand will be Rachel Webb, while Infinite Skills and DJ Reality will share MC duties in the VSPC stage. All the entertainers will be LOCAL St. Pete talent. This year’s LOCALTOPIA will include areas set aside as “Villages” in Williams Park with an Arts Village, a Family Village, a Health & Wellness Village and an #AllThingsPlants Village. There will be engaging activities for all ages including free demonstrations and hands-on crafts as well as the “biggest local raffle,” live screen printing, a photo booth and more surprises. Details and a vendor listing are available on the KSPL website. Bicycle valets will be available in Williams Park, and alternative transportation is suggested.

A Food Truck Rally will be set up on 4th Street, while 2nd Avenue will be Restaurant Row with a beer truck and local breweries pouring their own brews and games. Throughout LOCALTOPIA you will find makers and merchants with art and Handcrafted Goods, Artisanal and Plant-Based Food and Beverages, Body/Self-Care, Books, Clothing and Accessories, Home Décor, Jewelry, Pet, Plants & Plant-Based Products, Vintage, Vinyl and much more.
LOCALTOPIA is a free family-friendly festival. Organizer request that visitors to the event consider a (minimum) $5 donation at one of the “Donation Points” that will be located at all entrances to help KSPL continue its efforts.
