Loews Don CeSar is ushering in the holiday season with a Winter Solstice celebration on the shortest day of the year, Wednesday, Dec. 21. Bring the family to the legendary Pink Palace for this free poolside event, which features an array of holiday-themed activities, entertainment and delicious bites, plus a charitable component that’s sure to warm hearts this season. The event will take place between 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Admission to Winter Solstice is complimentary, including self-parking. Reservations are not required.
Guests can decorate cookies and ornaments, plus indulge in s’mores on the beach, caramel apples and gourmet popcorn while sipping on holiday champagne punch and spiked apple cider. Other highlights include live traditional holidays tunes from local musician Matt Winters and the Loews “Light Up The Night” show, which pairs music to an impressive array of flashing holiday lights.
Also, Loews Don CeSar is partnering with the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital for their annual All Kids Wonderland, which allows families of sick children to provide their little ones with gifts. During the event, guests are invited to drop off a new, unwrapped toy. In exchange, those who donate will receive a 20 percent discount on Dec. 21 and 22 at the Loews Don CeSar’s restaurant and retail outlets, including Maritana Grille, Rowe Bar, Sea Porch, and all of the shops at the hotel.
